I love finding a product that works well on my hair. Today, I am coloring my hair at home with a product that I love. I headed to my local Target to pick up Schwarzkopf® hair color. I have been using Schwarzkopf® Keratin Color for some time now, but they have recently come out with a new formula specifically for textured, curly hair and I am stoked!

I have cut my natural hair off on four different occasions, and I finally feel like I have it figured out. So much effort has gone into this, I have to be very careful with the products that I choose for my hair. I love coloring my own hair at home, but I have to find products that leave my hair healthy and honestly, that can be challenging. This product includes Anti-Breakage Technology K-Bond Plex within its color and moisture line allows the hair to remain stronger. The K-Bond Plex repairs inner hair structure and coats the hair surface after the coloration process for strong and healthy-looking hair.I found a product that I can trust, that can be purchased at my local Target and leaves my hair healthy every time. More than anything, I love how the new formula was created for individuals with textured hair like mine. Keratin Color + Moisture was designed for women of color, and it works nicely on dark tones. In this color line, my hair was left feeling softened and moisturized. The color results are true too!  Also, if you buy 4 Schwarzkopf® products, you’ll get a $5 Target gift card from 5/26-6/8 or while supplies last! Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

I have tried the reds, browns, and black hues in the regular Keratin Color line. The results are always true and my colors always look like the box, which is pretty amazing. The protective Pre-Color Serum preps the hair before coloring, which I believe is key to the great results. My color results are always even from root to tip. This color has been tested and approved by salons. I love it and you guys know that I am a Licensed Cosmetologist. I highly recommend it.I chose Schwarzkopf® Keratin Color + Moisture Jet Black Permanent Color, shade 1.0. For this look, I wanted to do something different and I love the results! IMG_3245

I decided to add some extensions to my hair and color the extensions too. The extensions that I purchased were a light brown. I’ve had the extensions for some time now, but I did not want to buy more. So, I colored the extensions to match my hair.

The results came out perfect! I have colored extensions in the past using Schwarzkopf® Keratin Color, but before I created wigs with straight hair. I was excited to see how even the result came out with the Keratin Color and Moisture line on textured hair. I am excited to show you how I added the extensions to my hair to create this look.

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
