How I Straighten My Natural Hair With Texture ID

By  |

Hola Beauties, I am always here for new hairstyles.  How about you?  Do you change your hair often?  Is there a style that you have been dying to try but, just a little to scared lol.  Well, if you are a curly girl I know the struggle.  It can be a struggle to find the right combination of products that just work so well on your hair.

Trust me, I know.  I have been trying out many different products over the years on natural hair and they all just do not work.  But I am here to share a product that has worked on my hair for both textured looks as well as straightened looks.  I am excited to share Texture ID with you.  Nope, it is not the first time that I have written about them.  I have some months ago written about them.

The difference is today I used the products to straighten my hair and boy am I shook.  I haven’t felt this way about a product in a little while.  Why?  Well, the product is great for  all hair.  Wheather you are wearing your hair straight, or curly product can work well for your hair.

What Did I Use

Texture ID Curl Clarifying Shampoo– easily cleanses the hair of all product build up without drying out the hair.  This shampoo has great slip, allowing ease in the detangling process.

Texture ID Triple Moisture Cream Conditioner– a little conditioner goes a long way.  Full of moisture conditioner offers a burst of hydration to the hair.  I am happy with the way my hair felt after rinsing out this conditioner.  No plastic cap, or heat was needed to make this work.

Texture ID Leave-In Conditioner– this leave-in is light on the hair, but also adds that extra layer of conditioning that natural hair requires.  This moisturizer has Aloe Vera extract, and Coconut Oil as ingredients.

Texture ID Thermal Multi-Styling Foam– this foam has so much moisture, it is thicker than the normal styling foams that I have used in the past. A little goes a long way with this foam.  This foam offers heat protection up to 450, and has wheat protein to strengthen the hair.

Styling Products Used

Of course styling products are just as important as products.  Especially when it comes to straightening the hair, styling products matter.  I know you need the deets on all the styling tools in order for this to truly work.  I got you!

Ion Whisper Quite Lite Blow Dryer– a quiet blow dryer (1875) watts worth every dime.  Blow dries the hair quickly and removes frizz easily.

Ion OneStroke Flat Iron– the best flat iron that I have used to straighten hair, and it is not over priced.  It is affordable.  I have tried to straighten my hair in the past, and it did not come out this nice.  This one heats up to 450 degrees, and it can straighten coarse, thick hair with no issues.

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
