Dose Of Colors Desi x Katy Friendcation Palette Review

Hola Beauties, it is always a great day to play in new makeup.  I picked up Dose Of Colors Desi x Katy Friendcation a week ago at Ulta Beauty.  I have seen this palette all over the gram, and I had to get my hands on one of their palettes.  They all looked so beautiful.  In addition to the review, I will also mention the brushes that I used in todays makeup look.

I love the packaging for this palette, it reminds me of a handbag.

The colors are heavily pigmented but, still buildable.

Here are some swatches.

DESI X KATY

Friendcation palette contains a mix of long-wearing mattes and ultra-dazzling eyeshadows. The matte shades are rich with pigment and blend so beautifully.  I create an IG tutorial on this just so you can see.  The shades are packed with multi-dimensional reflects that leave an gorgeous glittery effect.

For intense color payoff, apply with finger. For softer coverage, apply onto eyelids using your preferred brush.

Shades:

BASIC– Muted Light Pink

CHEENS– Deep Chocolate Brown

NECESSARY- Neutral Mid Tone Brown

DIRTY MONEY-Olive Green with antique gold shift

A MOMENT– Electric Royal Blue with purple shift

TRY ME– Cranberry Red with burnt orange shift

JUST A KISS- Iridescent Champagne with pink & gold shift

GIRL BYE– Smokey Marsala

CHURRO– Rich Warm Brown

GAME OVER– Midnight Black with Silver Reflects

Every now and then, I like to try new Makeup brushes.  While at Target on yesterday, I picked up Sonia Kashuk Complete Eye Brush Set, and the Sonia Kashuk Flawless Foundation set.

I love these bushes, I felt like I had every brush that I need to complete my entire makeup look.  I did not have to use my old brushes, which is always a great feeling.

What I Loved

• 3pc makeup brush set helps you achieve a flawless makeup base- I had every brush that I needed to complete my look.
• Set includes the Precision Foundation Brush, Pointed Foundation Brush and Domed Concealer Brush.
• Foundation brushes help apply and blend foundation for a flawless finish- and they feel amazing on the skin, my skin is sensitive and get irritated easily.  I did not have that feeling with these brushes.
• Domed concealer brush gently blends in concealer for an airbrushed finish.

I was able to achieve a flawless, even tone with these brushes.  They are good for the expert level to the beauty guru.  All levels, I believe would be happy with this set.  With this set, my skin was left blemish free and and I just loved the final look.

What I Loved

•  5pc set gives a variety of brushes to create a full eye look
•  Nylon brushes feel soft and perfect for blending- I loved how easily the brushes blended out.
•  I love the packaging of the brushes- the Black metal brushes are classic and comfortable to hold.
