Conair Foam Rollers On Natural Hair

By  |

Hola Beauties, I love to find products that make my life easier, and more than anything else I love sharing them with you!  Natural hair can be challenging, and it does take alot of practice to find the right products and the right techniques for the hair to have that look.  Just a few months ago, I decided to do more with my hair than a wash and go.  I wanted my hair to have more polished dry look.  I knew it was time to experiement with different looks in order me to get the look that I was after.

I feel I have masted the roller set with the rods, and flexi-rods, but I figured that there had be an easier way to style dry hair.  It took me a while to realize that I do not have to shampoo my hair when I wanted to change the style.  I only needed to add moisture and recreate another look.  That is where the sponge rollers come in, they are the perfect tools to update your curls without alot of effort.

Although there is rolling involved, the technique feels different and CONAIR Foam Rollers are made for sleeping lol.  So, I did not have any issues sleeping in them.  I rolled my hair at 830 last night, and my hair was ready this morning when I woke.  My hair was completely dry.

How To Roll Natural Hair

  1. Section hair into four quadrants.
  2. Apply Castor Oil section.
  3. Before rolling apply setting lotion, or foam on the ends of hair.
  4. Roll the ends of the hair first and rotate roller around in a spiraling motion.  This will create a spiral curl.
  5. For this look, I used the green rollers, and the yellow rollers.
  6. Start will small rollers on the bottom to give a more tapered look, or more shape.

How To Take Down Conair Foam Rollers

  1. Apply oil hair and seperate the curls.
  2. Pull each curl apart carefully. I separate my curls two to three times.

Here is the final result.

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
