When I first noticed my skin discoloration, I went straight to my dermatologist to get help.  I have been going to the dermatologist for over 20 years, and none of them has been successful in helping me with my skin discoloration.  I have resorted to all kinds of spa treatments, medicine etc. and to my dismay, had only left me frustrated.  I was frustrated with the fact that no one had been successful in helping me.

Not sure if it was the food, not sure if it was genes, not sure what was the root cause of my acne and discoloration.  Since I have been unsuccessful with other outside treatments, I decided to focus on my skincare treatments at home.  I can now see changes in my skin, it has improved greatly since I have begun this journey.

With Fall in full effect, my skin not only has hyperpigmentation issues but also extreme dryness.  It feels a little weird to me because normally I have extremely oily skin, but as I get older my skin type is now combination skin.  There are a couple of things I have started doing during the Fall season that has really helped both by dryness, and discoloration which is my biggest concerns.

Cleanse The Skin

I take the time to cleanse my skin really well.  It is so important to remove clean out the pores especially when you love makeup like I do.

Focus On Discoloration
