How To Highlight Your Face For A Dewy Glow- Tutorial
Hi Beauties, I wanted to take the time to share a look with you that is so popular now. If you are looking for a dewy glow, created in a simple way, I have the perfect tutorial for you! This look will give you a fresh face that you will love. Here is the highlighted look that I created.
Tutorial
Start with a good foundation, in this look I used Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation. This foundation is perfect for oily skin!
Provides a natural matte finish & oil control for flawless long wear without clogging pores or sinking into lines in a cake-free & comfortable formula. It covers redness, acne, & hyperpigmentation without hiding your complexion.
You know I have to contour, so I used my favorite contour stick by Julep. It’s actually called Cushion Complexion Foundation Stick, and the shade I go with is Mocha.
After blending out your contour, go ahead and start on the eyes. For this look, I did some super simple! I actually used the eyeshadow made by Julep for both to highlight my face, and I used it as eyeshadow. The actual name is Eyeshadow 101 Creme to Powder Eyeshadow Stick in the shade Champagne Shimmer.
I added my lashes to really complete the eyes.
Now it’s time to discuss how to highlight. Remember, I was creative with my eyeshadow stick and I used it for both. Here are a few other addition tips for highlighting.
Where To Highlight
There are a few key points to highlight on the face and generally these are the areas where the sun would naturally hit which are:
- The top of the cheekbones
- Bridge of the nose
- Under the brow bone
- Cupids bow
I also added the highlight on my lips to give me that undertone of a shimmer, which created a really pretty look.
Add your favorite lipgloss to layer the lips and add soft, juicy finish. In this look, I used Pixi Beauty Chloe Morello Lip Icing Cake.
