New Year New Curls For Naturalistas- Coconut Restore Review

By  |

Hi Beauties, hope all of you are starting your year off loving your hair, as I am loving mine lol.  I found something that I know you will love, that will nourish your hair, and just do the most for you.  There is nothing like having soft curls that you control- that do not control you.

When I was doing hair back in the day, I would always say control your hair- don’t let it control you.  No such thing as a bad hair day, with the right products, and product knowledge all things are possible.

In this post, I will share a product that I have been using for one week that has created the most beautiful curls.  In additon to the review, I will also explain the different techniques that I used to create the different looks.  It will be general explanation not too in depth- only an overiew of the different techniques used to achieve the looks.

So excited to share Nature’s Protein with you, this brand has created an amazing shampoo and conditioner formulated for each texture of curl.

What I hated

Nothing that I hated, nothing but love for this shampoo.

Coconut Restore Daily Strengthener Conditioner

  • Daily Strengthening Conditioner is a hydrating formula that softens and conditions leaving the hair looking, feeling and smelling remarkable.
  • This conditioner binds hair fibers, making detangling and conditioning more manageable while leaving hair soft and silky without weighing it down.
  • This healthy combination of Protein and Coconut Oil will make hair softer, stronger and healthier.

What I loved

This conditoner leaves the hair really soft, and I can always tell if the conditioner is really good by my curls.  My curls were softened and before I applied my hair creme my curls were very defined.  My hair was easily detangled, and sometimes these curls do knot up lol.  I really loved that.

What I hated

I did not hate anything about this conditoner, it is formulated with amazing ingredients that produces good results.

Overall Review

I have to say that I have used many natural products, as I have been doing hair for 12 years now.  Natural hair is my specialty, and I have used the best products on my hair as well as clients.  I have used Ms. Jessies, Carols Daughter, etc.  I can truly say that I will continue to use this product because of the way my texture of hair feels when I used it.  My curls look so good.  The cost of the products are not expensive- so it is affordable for most people.  The shampoo and conditioner indvidually cost $7.99.

Who is it good for?

Anyone can use it if needing more moisture, however this product is great for those who need help with curls.

Here are a few pictures of the looks that I created with the Coconut Restore Shampoo, and the Coconut Restore Conditioner.

Quick Tutorial:  To create this look, I flat twisted my hair and added small rollers on the ends.

Quick tutorial:  For this look, I just did a wash and go…so no more than shampoo, conditioner and add your favorite syling aid to define your curls to achieve this result.

Look at these curls!!

Quick Tutorial:  These curls were achieved the same way as the first picture, flat twist with rollers on the end.

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
