Why You Should Prep Your Face with Shea Butter-Video Tutorial

By  |

Simply put…Why should you be using shea butter before you prime?  As you know, or may have known I have cystic acne, and prevention is always my key.  I promised to share everything that I learn that benefits me with you, I especially understand your journey if you have problematic skin like me. There are many great benefits to using shea butter to prepare you skin, and of course, this is always after your normal cleanse, tone, and moisture…you always have to do those first.  Here are the benefits of Nilotic Shea Fruit Butter:

  • 100% Chemical Free, Non Toxic, Vegan & Cruelty Free Multipurpose Crème
  • HIGH in Natural Phyto-Nutrients for Skin Protection, Anti Aging, Nourishment, Diaper Rash Treatment and Acne Treatment
  • It’s great for dark spots and hyperpigmentation

I just began using Nilotic Pure Shea Fruit Butter, and it is so, so good for your skin.

Why should you use Nilotic Pure Shea Fruit Butter, over other brands?

  • Used by Mothers in Uganda for many generations due to its ability to rapidly Soothe and Heal Skin, Diaper Rash, Help Babies to Sleep Quietly and it is approved locally as edible hence mothers consider it Safe if Accidentally Ingested
  • Smooth, Light, Creamy & Fast Absorbing Butter from Nilotic Shea Fruits of the Nile
  • 100% Pure Nilotic Fruit Butter
  • Smooth, Light, Creamy & Fast Absorbing Butter from Nilotic Shea Fruits of the Nile
  • Instant Non-Comedogenic Moisture & Hydration for Thirsty Skin
  • Antibacterial and Anti inflammatory
  • Paediatrician Recommended and Clinical Studies to support benefits
  • Suitable for ALL Ages & Skin/Lip Types, including Sensitive Skin

You can order your Nilotic Creme Pure Shea Butter Here, and use NILOSILK97 for a discount off.

I know I have mentioned it, but the shea butter absorbs easily in your skin and makes the makeup application even easier.  Overall, I just feel better knowing that my skin is getting the best.  I always start with a clean face, but after I applied my shea butter, then moved on to applying my organic makeup.  I have created a special tutorial just for you, I’m pretty visual…so this just makes it more believable right.

I wanted to mention the necklace and ring in this picture are beautiful…and I wanted to take a moment to mention the details…they are both Mystic Topaz, and is make of Sterling silver.  They can be the perfect gift for any lady in your life, as I am so glad to have these beauties.  In my opinion they should be ordered together, as they are the perfect gift.  I just love my accessories! But, back to the makeup lol…

I loved this look, and even more, I loved the texture of my skin as it felt so soft.  Cystic acne, is nothing to play with.  So many things can cause break outs, and when they come it is so hard to prevent discoloration of the skin.  In the end try your very best, especially if you are living with the same skin condition and problematic skin as me.

It can be tough, so try your very best to wear the healthiest makeup, and try your very best to drink water and have a great diet.  All of these things are factors as well, although I am no nutritionist by any means…but, I am a Licensed Cosmetologist who cares about teaching everything I know that can make your life better.

All of the makeup that I used in this look, can be found in the video above…if you wanted to shop the look.

Thanks for stopping into my blog, continue to leave your comments below as I love to hear from you!

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!

I’ve never used shea on my face, but it might do the trick for my dry skin problem I’ve been having lately!
