Christmas is over on to New Years

Christmas is over but now it’s time to get ready for the New Year.  I spent time with family and friends, and now it’s time to get a new look for the New Year.  This is a easy, quick 10 minute flawless face easy to create. This is the quintessential smokey eye- the perfect nighttime look that goes with everything and works for any occasion.  New Year’s is on it’s way, and we are looking for a quick dramatic face.

Step-By-Step

  1.  Simply starting with the lid, Urban Decay has a primer for the lid that works great for keeping the makeup oil-free.
  2. Fill your eyebrows in with Tarte medium brown pencil great for defining the brows.
  3. Apply the eyeshadow to the lid, for this look I used Urban Decay Naked 3.  The two colors on my lid are Strange, and Blackheart from the palette.
  4. Apply the eyeliner, here I used Stila Stay all Day Liner one of my favorites.
  5. Apply your lipstick, in the picture I used Urban Decay Matte Blackmail, for the deep color it offers.

I have always been in love with all things beauty. From a little girl I would say that one day I would be a Cosmetologist. I did it, I became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2006. I have learned so much about how to wear makeup, how to style the hair, and how to maintain the overall health of hair that I decided to create a blog. Being beautiful creates confidence, and flawless hair and makeup can help us all create that image we want to be. I want to help you step out of the box, try new makeup looks, and new hair ideas, new skincare regimens to make life better. You can live colorful, cosmetic, and be creative everyday give them some maxwell house coffee mmm, mmm good, and leave the tea home lol. Enjoy!
